Balance Yoga is a signature class by Olena Kostenko that blends the traditional principles of Hatha Yoga with modern insights into anatomy, biomechanics, and body physiology.
The practice incorporates dynamic movements (vyayamas) designed to restore the functional length of muscles, which is often compromised by a modern sedentary lifestyle. Special emphasis is placed on working with antagonistic muscle pairs, allowing the body to regain balance and prepare for safe asana execution.
Classes are conducted in a static-dynamic flow, where movement is synchronized with breath and brief isometric holds. This approach fosters a deeper connection with the body, enhances proprioception, and helps establish healthy movement patterns.
Balance Yoga is a practice that helps to:
• Improve posture and alignment
• Release tension accumulated from daily stress
• Develop strength, flexibility, and coordination
• Practice asanas safely and mindfully
• Cultivate deeper body awareness
Suitable for all fitness levels.
If this is your first time at a training session, you should definitely arrive 15 minutes before the start to get a briefing.
Be sure to bring a water bottle with you. In our dressing room you will be able to collect delicious filtered drinking water.
Don't be late! After the start of training, we do not let you into the gym. You can be injured if you don't stretch and warm up. And it would be unfair to disturb the atmosphere of the class set up by the coach.
You can purchase glove pads and boxing gloves at the reception. We also have free cue balls and boxing gloves in the gym.
We recommend a light carbohydrate snack to keep you energized and beat everyone in your workout.
In the changing room you can borrow a free small face towel.
During the workout, our trainers take stories so that you can be proud of yourself afterwards. Because if you didn’t take a photo or video at a workout, then consider that you weren’t there 😁
If you do not want the trainer to film or tag you in stories, please let him know in advance.
You can cancel registration for a class without losing it 6 hours before the start or earlier.
Caution: if training is canceled later than 6 hours before, it will not be returned to your balance.
Book your classes, order food or drinks in advance, and follow your friends to know when they are going to the next class
