Smartass is an innovative club with a scientific approach to training. The club was founded in 2018 in Kyiv, Ukraine. The Smartass schedule is designed so that you always have something to choose from, and the structure of each workout is carefully crafted to your entire body. You will notice that trainers use lighting scenarios during workouts. They do this to interact with the nervous system and improve your physical performance. Additionally, we create special playlists that match your workout phase, providing you with a boost or relaxation when needed.

Smartass focuses exclusively on group training. Our carefully selected and highly trained coaches ensure personalized attention, guiding you through proper technique and execution. Smartass also offers many cool features you won't find in other clubs. For example, our handy App lets you sign up for workouts, see who’s attending with you, follow friends, order food or drinks for a specific time, leave feedback, and more.

Smartass is a group training club where all training sessions are closely supervised by our professional trainers. Therefore, you cannot train solo. However, you can choose a class in the schedule of the club nearest to you or arrange a private training session at the reception.

First of all, don't worry about being weak. Even if you're a beginner, our workouts are designed to accommodate all levels. Just let the trainer know about your fitness level, any physical conditions, or injuries. Secondly, please arrive 15 minutes before the session starts. We don't allow entry once a class has begun, as skipping the warm-up could lead to injury. Additionally, arriving late disrupts the trainer's focus, which affects the experience for the entire group. You have to admit—it wouldn't be fair to the other guests. Thirdly, check the workout description. Some classes require shoes, while others do not. For Boxing, you will need to bring your own gloves or wraps. If you don't have them, don't worry, you can purchase them at the reception. Everything else is provided free of charge at the club. And most importantly: bring the desire to train hard and have a great time!

Yes, every Smartass club has a comfortable shower, free towels, high-quality toiletries, and hair dryers. At reception, you can buy disposable slippers, shampoo, and much more.

No, we provide complimentary large shower towels and smaller face towels for your workout.

Yes, we provide free drinking water. Just bring a bottle with you. You can also buy our branded bottle at the reception. If you prefer bottled water, it’s available for purchase at the desk.

Yes, every Smartass location has a small cafe at the reception where you can order protein shakes, smoothies, coffee, and other cold and hot drinks through the app or at the reception. You can also buy snacks at each location. Selected locations have a full-fledged Smartass Kitchen & Bar restaurant: - Kyiv, Ukraine, 41A Zhylianska str; - Kharkiv, Ukraine, 16 Universytetska St; - Sofia, Bulgaria, Vertigo Business Tower, 109 Bulgaria Blvd., 109.

Yes, you can pre-order drinks for a specific time through the Smartass app. Look for the icon with a knife and fork on the session page. In locations with a restaurant, you can also order food. Let us know whether you would like it to be to go or served in a restaurant.

Unfortunately, no. Please make sure that your child or pet is supervised by a trusted person. Our admins are quite busy, so they won't be able to help with this. We have cameras in all public places, except the locker rooms. Therefore, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the safety of valuable items there. Please make sure to leave them at home or in a secure place.

Yes! After all, if you don’t take a selfie, did you even work out? (Just kidding!) But we love it when you share your fitness results and tag Smartass and your trainer. We just ask that you do so in a way that does not disturb other guests.

You can leave a review in the app via a pop-up window that appears when after your last session. There you can rate the club, leave feedback and tip the trainer. We carefully review all feedback to continuously improve the club, thanks to your support! Also, you can always leave us a personal review at the reception or send us direct messages on our social media. We truly value your opinion and appreciate both positive feedback and suggestions for improvement. Your input helps us grow and provide an even better experience.

In addition to a cafe and restaurant, some of our locations have a beauty salon and massage services. You can also buy personal training sessions with your favorite trainer to improve your technique and work on individual tasks/goals.

CLASSES

Smartass has over 30 types of fitness workouts. We update the schedule regularly to ensure you always have plenty of options, and so you can choose what's best for you and your mood or well-being today. You can choose a workout that suits your goals and read more about them on the website.

No, you don't. We structure our classes to be suitable for all fitness levels. The trainer will always offer modifications to the activity, so you can choose the one that suits you best. If you have any contraindications or injuries, please inform the trainer before the workout so that he can adjust it for you.

We recommend purchasing the Smart Start package. With it, you will be able to attend 3 different classes to choose the one that suits you best! If you've had a long break from training or are just starting your fitness journey, we recommend starting with less intense workouts. For example, TRX, Barre, Power. If you want something more intense, try Cycle, Boxing, and Games–but listen to your body. Modify the intensity to what you feel comfortable with. Be sure to tell your trainer that it is your first time. They will be able to adapt the exercises to your level. Remember this moment, because in a few months, you will not recognize yourself and what your body is capable of!

It all depends on what results you want to achieve. Our workouts are categorized into “lose weight”, “develop flexibility”, and “shape relief”. This way you can choose the workouts that meet your goals. We recommend exercising at least 3 times a week to see results. Gradually add stretching and recovery workouts: Stretching and Recovery. Also, don't forget about healthy sleep and proper nutrition!

Before you head to training, check the class description for any specific items you'll need. For example, some classes do not require shoes, while boxing classes require bandages or armbands (available at the club's reception). Be sure to bring a water bottle, which you can refill at the club. We do not provide disposable cups in the sports area, as we promote an eco-conscious philosophy. We also offer a branded reusable bag, perfect for carrying and washing your workout gear. Free shower and face towels are available in the locker rooms. Additionally, the clubs have refrigerators with eucalyptus towels, which you can use to refresh your face after an intense workout.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to let you in and your workout will be canceled. Each workout follows a structured 45-minute format. If you arrive late, you risk injury from missing the warm-up. Additionally, the trainer’s focus will be disrupted, affecting the experience for the whole group. Our trainers are committed to delivering great workouts and creating a unique atmosphere. If someone arrives late, it can disrupt that magic, leaving the group disappointed.

Yes. You can arrange a training session with your favorite trainer at the reception. The administrators will provide all the details.

Yes, we do. If you’d like to reserve a class for yourself, you can buy all the slots for that session. We also have special corporate offers.

You can attend Smartass group training sessions on your own starting at 18 years old. Before this age, you can attend our workouts with adult supervision and prior agreement with the club administration.

Yes, but we recommend consulting with your personal physician to find suitable workouts. Also, be sure to let your trainer know about your condition so he or she can adjust the exercises for you.

Yes, but please consult your physician beforehand and inform our trainer about the injury or any physical considerations before starting the workout.

CLASS BOOKING

The easiest way to book a class is through the iOS or Android app. There, you can find detailed information about the class and trainer, as well as see who will be attending the session with you.

You can cancel a class without being charged if you do so 6 hours in advance or more. Cancellations made later than 6 hours prior to the class will not be refunded. For classes scheduled between 7:00 and 9:00 AM, cancellations must be made by 10:00 PM the previous day to avoid losing the training.

If you are using a single session, package, or membership with a fixed number of sessions, you will lose that session if you miss the class. Unlimited Membership holders who miss three booked classes without canceling will have their access temporarily suspended for the remainder of the month. This policy helps ensure fairness and availability for all guests.

Members with 6-month and 12-month subscriptions can book classes up to 3 weeks in advance. All other clients can book up to 2 weeks ahead.

Unfortunately, we won’t be able to let you in, and your workout will be forfeited. Please, try not to be late!

Yes, you can do so up to 6 hours before the class starts. Please note that for classes scheduled between 7:00 and 9:00 AM, rescheduling or cancelling without losing the training is only possible until 10:00 PM the previous day.

When a class is full, a waitlist is automatically generated for those who would like to attend. If a spot opens up, you’ll receive an app notification and can book your session right away. Members have priority in receiving notifications about free places in the Waitlist.

No, unfortunately, you cannot share your workout. However, you can gift a workout or workout package to a friend through the app or the website.

This feature allows you to invite a friend from your contact list to their first free class at Smartass. To do this, simply sync your contacts with the app and select a friend who hasn’t trained at the club before. They will receive an email invitation with a link to book their session.

Yes, this option is available in the app and on the website. You can choose a single session, a package, or even a membership and gift to someone. Just select a contact from your list or manually enter their phone number.

TRAINING PACKAGES

You can buy a workout through the iOS or Android app, on the website, or at the reception of any Smartass club.

A workout package allows you to purchase workouts at a discount. The more workouts you have in a package, the less it costs per training session. Memberships are available for 3, 6, and 12-month subscriptions, offering reduced prices for workouts, additional perks from us and our partners, and access to exclusive events for members. Yes. All packages, except for the 50-session package, are valid for 6 months. The 50-session package remains on your balance for 12 months.

You can get a full refund for your training within two weeks from the date of purchase. Find more details on the website page: Return and refund policy.

Yes, you can buy a physical gift certificate at the reception of any Smartass location. Additionally, you can purchase training sessions, packages, and Memberships as gifts through our website and app.

MEMBERSHIP

Smartass offers Membership plans for 3, 6, and 12 months. You can choose the number of sessions you’d like to attend each month: 5, 10, 20 or 30 within the unlimited option. Depending on your chosen Membership, you’ll receive various perks.

You can freeze a 6- or 12-month Membership for up to 2 weeks. The 3-month Membership cannot be frozen.

Your Membership will automatically expire after 3, 6, or 12 months, depending on the duration you selected.

You can cancel your Membership and receive a full refund within two weeks of purchase, provided that you have not used it yet.

Yes, you can cancel a class without being charged 6 hours in advance or less. If you cancel later than 6 hours before the class, it will not be refunded. For classes scheduled between 7:00 and 9:00 AM, cancellations must be made by 10:00 PM the previous day to avoid losing the training. You can pay by card through the app or website. At the reception, you can pay with either a card or cash.

Yes, Smartass offers a full money-back guarantee on all purchases made via our website and app. If you are not satisfied with the services you have purchased from us, you can get your money back with no questions asked. You are eligible for a full refund within 14 calendar days of purchase. After the 14-day period, you will no longer be eligible or able to receive a refund. We recommend the services within the first two weeks after purchase to ensure that they meet your needs.
